Richard C. Salfelder
Richard Carl Salfelder is a registered patent attorney and electrical engineer with almost 20 years of experience in patent law. His experience has been focused in satellite telecommunications, vehicle systems, device protection, and control systems.
- Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Salfelder supervised a team of patent attorneys at a major intellectual property law firm, which focused on electronics patent prosecution and licensing for major electronics manufacturers in the Pacific Rim. Mr. Salfelder has extensive experience in client counseling, obtaining allowance of complex electronics patents, cross-licensing negotiations, patent claim charts, and preparation of electronics patentability and invalidity opinions.
- Prior to his legal career, Mr. Salfelder worked for 13 years as an electrical engineer for Grumman Aerospace and Hughes Aircraft Company in the areas of design and testing of satellite telemetry and command systems. During law school, Mr. Salfelder interned for Chief Judge Terry J. Hatter, United States District Court for the Central District of California.
