World-Wide Patent Searches
We conduct world-wide patent searches, the same type of search conducted by United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). We study all the patents directly related to your invention. We give you our opinion about the scope of patent protection we can likely get for you based on the search results. If we believe that we will not be able to obtain a patent for you, then we will suggest ways that you can improve your invention so that we can obtain a patent.
International Trademark Filings
TLO® can help you obtain trademark protections outside the U.S., and we can quickly estimate the cost for this process in each country. You can obtain additional trademark rights if you file overseas within six months of your U.S. filing date, but you can also file overseas after that date. You can obtain additional trademark rights if you file overseas within six months of your U.S. filing date, but you can also file overseas after that date.
Renewal of Trademark Registrations in the U.S. and Abroad
Five years after the registration of your mark, we must file a statement with the Trademark Office that you are still using the trademark. We will advise you about that when the time comes. After we file the additional documents, your mark will acquire additional rights under the law. In ten years, we must renew the registration. As our client, we will always inform you when it is time to renew.
